Yes, that’s our house!!!! Our house!!!! The feeling of seeing our own house is indescribable.
Mixture of everything,..mostly good feelings.
We didnt go inside the house for safety reasons ( not to mention 2-3 kali kena sound dengan mamat yg incharge on site , dia mmg tak bagi masuk langsung)
But we are pleased with the security around that area. Bagus la..diorang buat keje diorang. Selagi tak dapat kunci, they will not allowed us to go inside our house.
Hopefully by October we will get our keys.

Kitchen
|
|
Tomorrow we will start our kitchen hunt. Budget is our constraint right now and we need to have 2 kitchen in our house. Wet & dry. Basically we have our own basic ideas on how both kitchen gonna look like..and tomorrow we gonna go more into details on the design, materials, fittings and equipment.
Again..budget is our main constraint. We need to work on whatever resources we have and try not to burst the budget (that's the toughest part) .
We are planning to visit showrooms around Kota Damansara area.

Tips & Guides
Step 1
List out your requirements on a piece of paper such as
• How many appliances do you want in the kitchen?
• What do you want eg. Working space, open concept, etc.
Step 2
Selection of shops and check on their credibility
• Visit their showrooms and check on their workmanship.
• Get sound advice from the kitchen consultant
• Have a wide range of products.
• If any, provide flexible payment scheme.
• Bring along your floor plan.
Step 3
Finalized design
• Ensure that all matters eg. types of appliances will be place in kitchen, the position of the extractor fan, the kitchen and layout design, etc. are discussed with the kitchen consultant.
Step 4
Get the M&E from the kitchen consultant
• Ensure that the M&E points and position are done at the site before installation.
Step 5
Installation of kitchen

EPF Withdrawal
|

Setelah lebih kurang 5 tahun menabungkan duit gaji ke dalam EPF, hari ini tibalah masanya kami
untuk mengeluarkan wang di dalam akaun 2.
Suprisingly the process amatlah mudah dan pantas provided we have all the documents needed.
1) IC Copy
2) S&P Agreement Copy
3) Letter Offer from Bank
4) Front cover copy of Bank Book (joint acct not allowed)
5) and lastly to fil in Borang Permohonan Pengeluaran Perumahan Kali Pertama
minus the q time, i think it only took us about 15 mins to get approval.
within 2-4 weeks time the money will be credited into our bank account.
Im a happy little boy.

Stamp Duty, Electricity & Water Deposit
|

Our payment has been made to Hicom-Gamuda Development Sdn Bhd today.
Some details need to check:
1) Cheque payable to Hicom-Gamuda Development Sdn Bhd
2) Amount of payment RM 590 (RM100 for water + RM490 for electricity & stamp duty)
3) Make sure you crossed you IC copy and write for Syabas & for TNB
4) Make sure you fill in the forms ( TNB & Syabas) correctly.
If you are not sure of your full address, no need to worry. They will help you to fill it in.
Done at finance, we take a look at the progress of our house.
Wawiii, it almost completed. Except the road to our unit is still under construction.
They will first handover the units on first row near KESAS hi-way. That will be
on August / September. Most likely we will get our keys on November / December.
Right now inspection is still on-going. It will take sometimes though.

Wall Deco

I've been berangan-ing to have this kind of photo frame up on our wall.
But I think its a bit too expensive, and wayyyy out of our budget for Phase 1.
KIV for next phase.
Progress:
We have made booking for our sofa, coffee table & dining table. Not going to reveal the picture yet. All I can say is, RED 
btw, those pix was taken from The Star sometimes ago. Do you recognize whose picture was that?

Its Labour Day. We take this opportunity to meet our Lagoon Homes community and to visit the Homedec Exhibition in KLCC.
We met Albert, Freddy, Kang + girlfriend and Andrea and not to forget our 3 doors down neighbour, Ermie & Nizam.
Unfortunately we didn’t manage to have a picture together. May be next time.
At the exhibition, the only booth that attracts our attention is the Innovation booth.

Sofa Bed / Futon Hunting.

We are searching for sofa bed since katil Irfan already broken.This is what i found when i googled :

We are thinking about going to a shop (more like kilang actually) that can custom made all kind of sofa. I forgot the name, but its situated in Puchong near DHL.
Here are some of the sofa bed image that i found, but none can capture my heart (and my budget. ah ah ah)
too square..rasa mcm tak comfy.
nice, but tak practical.
canggih sgt ni....musti mahal.
this one quite OK, but i prefer blue...
Later when we move to Lagoon, this sofa will be placed at out family hall upstairs. And that area i want to make it cool and cozy, thats why i choosed blue.
Hopefully we have extra fund this month, coz darling husband mengidam PS3 pulak...

But they bad news is, they dont have Sofa Bed on offer. Demits.
Atas dasar tidak puas hati, i decided to call Fella Design in DU and asked about their sofa bed / futon range. I discover new thing about them. Fella Design have 3 companies that operates under one roof.
1) Fella Sales = regular sofa, wing chair, dan lain2 benda biasa
2) Urban Culture = more on Baliness style (futon should be here)
3) Morph = more into modern deco (sofa bed falls under this)
So the salesperson avised me to call MORPH 03 7726 0049 to know more about sofa bed.

well, i have not much material about the house that i can write about.
as for the progress, rumah dah naik, we had been serving the interest of
the loan for the last 4 months. i'allah by the end of the year dapatlah duduk
umah baru.
news!
ermie & nizam also bought the lagoon homes, and the best part about this,
their house is only 3 doors away from us. happenings!!!!
below is the picture of me & irfan during our first visit to the show house.
if im not mistaken, irfan was only 3 months old.
and this pix was taken last 2 weeks. mimi & sipa tagged along.
irfan is now 11 months old. how time flies...
